اليوم نسيت نور إحضار كتاب المُطالعة فوبّختها المُعلمة حتّى بكت. لم تُخبر أحدًا أنّ أُمّها في السّماء، لأنّها تشعر بوجودها، فهي تزورها دائمًا في أحلامها، وتربّت على كتفها، وتعطيها الكعك المحشوّ بالفُستق والّلوز. يتكرّر الأمر، وتنسى نور عمل بعض الواجبات. إنّها تشعر بالوحدة.
